JOB TITLE: Field Technician (Low-Current Electronic Installation)

LOCATION: Dammam
SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: The Field Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and repair low-current electronic systems, including security systems, access control, CCTV, and building automation systems.
- Conduct on-site assessments and diagnose issues related to the installation and operation of electronic systems.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation to understand the system requirements and plan the installation process.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, such as troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing defective components.
- Ensure the proper functioning and integration of electronic systems with other building infrastructure and equipment.
- Liaise with clients, end-users, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements, provide technical support, and address their concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including documenting the work performed and parts used.
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills to keep pace with the evolving technologies and industry best practices.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of the work team and customers.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians to develop their technical expertise.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
- - Technical diploma or certificate in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- - Relevant industry-recognized certifications (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA, etc.) are highly desirable.
- - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of low-current electronic systems.
- Familiarity with various types of electronic systems, including security, access control, CCTV, and building automation.
- Understanding of electrical wiring, configuration, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience in working with clients and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

- Competent in the use of testing and diagnostic equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- Basic understanding of network connectivity, programming, and system integration.
- Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software for interpreting technical drawings.
